How to obtain medicines urgently

If you run out of your medicines during normal opening hours, please contact the Surgery and we will endeavour to have your prescription ready that day.

Dispensing patients will be able to collect the medication from the dispensary, if in stock.

Non dispensing patients will need to collect the paper prescription from the Surgery, in cases of housebound patients we will endeavour to fax the prescription to the chemist for delivery.

Prescriptions out of hours

If you run out of your medicines outside normal opening hours and need some urgently, contact your local pharmacy. They may be able to give you an emergency supply. Supermarket pharmacies are often open until late.
