Care Quality Commission CQC

From 1st April 2013, GP practices became one of the services to be regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Their job is to check that hospitals, care homes, dentists, GPs and services in peoples homes are meeting national standards. For GP's, they look at five key areas:

  • Are services safe?
  • Are services effective?
  • Are services caring?
  • Are services responsive to people's needs?
  • Are services well-led?

We were inspected on 5th April 2016 and were rated as 'Good'. You can view our Inspection Report on the CQC website here: Oldwood Surgery CQC Inspection Report

Our Statement of Purpose outlines our vision and the services we provide. This can be viewed under 'Further Information'.
